All of fourth class went to their first swimming lesson at 10 past ten this morning. We had a small break where we had something to eat at about 10 o'clock. We all got our jackets, our swimming gear, got in a line and walked to our bus. Our teachers and our SNA came too.
When the bus arrived at the pool, we had to wait at the wall until everyone got off. We all waked in and went to the changing rooms. All the children put on their swimsuits, swimming hats and goggles. On our way to the pool we had to use the showers. We met our three swimming instructors. The swimming instructors explained the rules while we waited at the wall. They divided us into two groups, children who could swim and the beginners.
They asked us kick our legs while holding on to the wall. next they asked us to put our head under the water and blow bubbles for three seconds. When we could do that they asked us to try it for five seconds. The instructors gave us boards , gave each child a number we had to swim across the pool.
We enjoyed our first day swimming. Everyone was very happy on the bus on the way back to school.
