Relay Takeover

The #RelaysTakeOver initiative encourages schools to participate in relay activities as part of the Active School Flag program. This initiative, supported by Athletics Ireland and The Daily Mile Ireland, aims to promote physical activity and teamwork. Schools can participate in various relay activities, including using beanbags, small rings, or plastic bottles as alternatives to traditional relay batons.

A number of classes in the school took part in the Relay Takeover on the 27th of September. This was the first initiative of the year and the students really enjoyed celebrating our Irish relay champions.
