Big Bear Planetarium

As part of space week, Ms Quinn’s 5th class were lucky to be picked to visit the Big Bear Planetarium in Tallaght Library. This is a giant dome tent which teaches children all about space. The children lay on the floor in the tent and an incredible show was projected onto the dome. It told us all about our solar system and galaxy. We even learned a fascinating fact that if you look up at the sky with a telescope you’re actually looking back in time! The children were blown away by the experience and it made us even more excited to learn about space.
